Any idea for a couple on holiday?

in 3 days time my bf and i are going on a holiday in sicily with a motorbike for one week.as we are both very hard worker and never had chance to talk about ourselves i want this holiday to make us more close to eachother. but he's not a romantic type of person. how or what can i do or start conversation to make ourselves even more enjoy our holiday?
