What were some of the major events that took place during Abu Bakr's khaleefah?

since it was right after the Prophet's death many people went back against Islam and to their old religions or staying muslim but not wanting to do everything Allah made obligatory like paying zakat. So it was Abu Bakr who got them back to follow Islam.
