How do apple make you lose weight/calories?

Apples are filled with fiber and if you eat enough in a day they can help clean you out and loose weight they also help with your complexion (sp?). I'm not sure about apricots or carrots, but carrots aren't actually that healthy. Watermelons fill you up fast and mostly consist of water so they help you to eat less. Salads also fill you up fast except and are naturally healthy for you except for iceburg lettuce. There is no nutritional value whatsoever in iceburg lettuce. Hope this helped!
